I just got this working today and can say it’s quite an elegant solution. It means anyone with a Google account (that I allow through Cloudflare settings) can take advantage of immich. I plan to be the storage server for my family so they can have automatic photo backups.

If you decide to go that route and have questions, hit me up. I spent a while troubleshooting issues caused by not creating a SaaS application in Cloudflare, so read the directions exactly.

The games industry is real crap now. There’s so much resistance to just being able to download a game and play. It’s always about downloading proprietary launchers, signing up for new accounts, wading through micro transactions, unfinished games, bad stories, and bug-ridden experiences.

Moving that information to the bottom of the screen sucks. Why would they have information where your hands typically hold the phone? People’s eyes typically stay focused toward the upper-middle of the device, so being on the bottom just makes it harder to read.

And when talking about kids, yeah, they should avoid having sex until they’re like 17 or 18. When they’re basically adults. Nobody is telling 14 year olds that it’s okay to have sex, because at that age, it’s likely coerced. And especially not those who are the subject of “best tablets for kids.”
