Yup that’s it! Thanks for finding it!

There was a joke in my local community that is something along these lines:
An African poor kid has seen a Nintendo console somewhere and asks his dad for one. Dad says no, understandably given the circumstances. The kid then makes a replica using cardboard and other shit he finds. Dad posts this on social media and it gains huge attention. Nintendo’s CEO learns about this and travels to Africa in his private jet to meet the family personally. The CEO arrives there and sues the family for copyright infringement for 1,000,000 dollars.
I don’t know I never felt the need to customize the terminal. I just like what it comes with. It feels wrong to change that. Black background and colored text is fine. The rest of the OS though damn it’s like a fucking birthday party! Nothing’s at default ffs
I agree with all you’ve said. Especially the monopoly part is where I disagreed the most. This is a good document to inform people about the ideology behind computers. Well, would be if not for those mistakes you have mentioned.
Other than those, as you have said, it’s a thought-provoking essay.
I like this menu. Seems like they target larger screens with this as it doesn’t take up the whole screen anymore. It’s like a return to the old design but with a new coat of paint.
I would recommend going for the IoT LTSC versions of Windows.
I appreciate the effort but posting this in here is pointless as most people in here are already in Firefox or any other browser that is not Chrome itself.
I’m uninformed on this matter but it’s on “Studies” for me.
Aren’t “Studies” just a fancy term for “limited rollout”? So I assume Mozilla controls them. Therefore I don’t think it’s a value in about:config
. I might be wrong though.
Tried it. Loved it. Looks sleek and buttons make navigation much easier.
I love corporate marketing talk
go to settings , updates to try to revert to previous version: no option to install older version , only option is export. weird ok lets try to export old version . Now it lets me install that
Yeah… that’s user error. Don’t ever do that. I suggest creating a bug report if things go wrong again.
I really hope that there is a logical reason for Mozilla’s stupid choices. Because I can’t think of one.
You could swap out the Firefox shortcut on their home screen with an ‘open Google(.)com in Firefox’ shortcut.
That’s what I will do.
I already did. And they “don’t like” it. They want to see the Google logo for some reason.
Network access requires root, unfortunately. The rest seems to work fine on non-rooted devices though.
My phone’s rooted so my use cases are:
Seriously. Why the hell is the guy’s face in there anyway? I would understand if it was Nvidia’s logo that was large as hell. I imagine it might be to tell his followers “it’s me” but whatever.
There’s been a bug with .flac files for quite a while now. They haven’t fixed it. Audio just stops very briefly then continues.
That’s the Privacy Badger. I love using it aswell.
It is Google’s. Google uses it on Google products that aren’t Android. Such as Google Chrome for PC. It got a MD3 update.
It’s almost like they are intentionally trying to get in trouble.
