  • Yes, I am never buying a Tide product again since it seems they were the only ones to pay Amazon for ads. I was trying to watch a show that I was having difficulty pirating and every damn ad was either for tide or bounty for some damn reason so never buying anything from them again since I had to see like 30 of those ads repeatedly. I usually muted the tv and just browsed my phone but for that first second the ad played I could tell it was for one of them.

  • Ive always loved my OnePlus phones.

Started with a OP5, which lasted me 4 years until I upgraded to OP9, which lasted another 4 years and now I have an OP13.

Compared to my Google and Samsung phones which both lasted less then 2 years each.

My Google Nexus 5 was a beast which also lasted 4 years but then my first pixel shit the bed and never got another Google phone.

My $1000 Samsung phone’s battery shit the bed within a year and the charging port wore down where it wouldn’t even charge unless it was in a very specific pressure and resting at a very specific angle.

Never had a single issue with any of my three OP phones.

  • I wouldn’t mind tearing up the existing walls if it meant not having to grind up the concrete foundation to keep a 36" opening. The fridge I bought had to be brought down those stairs so getting it out will probably require going back up them lol.

I think tearing out the wall on the left would be ideal and then building the door jamb into the wall to keep it a 36" opening would be the best option.

    Thanks!

I’ll probably take out the red part and expand the door jamb to fill the green section

  • I was wondering if it would be possible to basically build the door jamb into the walls on either side, so when on the stair side you basically just see drywall butting up to a closed door instead of having trim around it. Not sure if that would look silly though, but it’s not like anyone ever really has to look at it unless they’re hanging out on the landing for some reason.

  • I spent $1000 on my Samsung (S6? I can’t even remember anymore) and it’s battery shit the bed after like 12 months and the charging port no longer worked unless the cord was exactly in a specific angle and pressure on order to recharge it. It was a pain in the ass and cheaper to buy a new phone than to fix it.

Bought a OnePlus 5 after that which lasted 4 years, them a OnePlus 9 which lasted another 4 years, and currently on year 2 of my OnePlus 13 with no issues.

Samsung could have had another 2-3 phones from me if they had decent quality but nah they prefer to design to fail.
