It was a joke…
Geez. Linux community is extremely uptight and extremely triggered by any challenge, even whimsical. Relax guys. But seriously, Firefox kind of sucks.
So just to install chrome?
Edit: I got down voted for saying people use edge for downloading Chrome. A lot of edge lovers here, who would have known?
I know the Linux community doesn’t want to know, but Firefox is not as belowed as you might think.
You wrote down a reason why Russian bots are bad and one that is not really true. Russian bots aren’t saying just about anything. Not to mention most people wouldn’t mind if a self proclaimed Russian bot started to push for vanilla ice cream over chocolate agenda. They would “not lose sleep” over it, but then some still go out and buy some vanilla. Even if they don’t believe in marketing.
It doesn’t really matter if they are a bot or a useful idiot if they are doing the same job.

Very true.
Samsung.
I don’t know which battery it is since it was 3rd party, but as much as I have read people have the same experience either way.
(supposedly it’s an original battery)
I tried replacing the battery, but the “new” battery was just as bad.
The problem is that these batteries were just stored somewhere for years, probably in not ideal conditions.
Pointless semantics.
You missed the point again, oh dear! Let me try again in simpler terms : you yourself dont define words, how they are used in the public does. So if the world calls it ai, then the word will mean what everybody means when they use it.
This is how the words come to be, evolve and are at the end put in the dictionary. Nobody cares what you think. Ai today includes ML. Get over it.
Nice try with deflection attempts, but I really don’t care about them, I’m only here to teach you where words come from and to tell you, the article is written about you.
Also that I’m out of time for this. Bye.
Well not at all. What a word means is not defined by what you might think. When the majority starts to use a word for something and that sticks, it can be adopted. That happens all the time and I have read articles about it many times. Even for our current predicament. Language is evolving. Meanings change. And yes ai today includes what is technically machine learning. Sorry friend, that’s how it works. Sure you can be the grumpy drunk at a bar complaining that this is not strictly ai by some definition while the rest of the world rolls their eyes and proceeds to more meaningful debates.
Yes, lots of people are using this argument when reacting negatively.
I use it too and there is much to like. But there is also another side of it. I’m working in Web sites and apps and regularly test sites and Web apps on many browsers and Firefox has by far the most issues. Sometimes really strange issues that we spend way too much time to fix for Firefox users and lately we just don’t.
I have issues with it. Some pages and apps don’t work well on Firefox. Rendering is off : alignments, some apps don’t even work. I will be switching away.

Reddit was leftist not long ago. Not really leftist, just a bit left leaning. In my communities that changed drastically from 2020 and on. When I stopped using it a couple of months ago, my favourite subs were already mainly right wing.
You can’t say there isn’t anything to it. But for sure I agree it isn’t the whole story.
