Shut up with your logic! I’m going to the grocery store…
I found this same thought on this same post a year ago. Someone already crunched the numbers and it seems with the volume constant but height growing, the surface area increases

Then shouldn’t his content be published by some trusted outlet?
Did you just link some dude’s blog as a source?
Im assuming you aren’t American, then 👀
Hey, that hurt my simulated feelings
Hello!
I agree completely, but I still stand by my original point.
You’d be surprised. In this specific example, many people believe such jobs are meant only for high schoolers and anyone else in that job is too stupid or lazy to do better and therefore don’t deserve better.
Apologies, I’m not trying to say that that argument is true or has any basis in reality, more so that the argument is completely irrelevant
Everyone working a job should be making a living wage. “Oh, but then the price of my McDonald’s cheeseburger will skyrocket!!” Fucking good. If it’s not economical to produce a product without abusing people, that product shouldn’t exist. Period. I will die on this hill.
Yeah, I assumed they just had a typo or two like we all do from tiem to time.
Your English is great, OP
Surely you forgot a /s, right?
Ah, my apologies for misinterpreting then. Appreciate the clarification

It’s just indicative of where their priorities lie. Dude’s compensation is like 3.5% of their total development budget. Meanwhile they’re being absolutely dominated by their competitors. Maybe instead of working on their golden parachutes, they should focus more on not being obliterated in the next 24-48 months.
I dont feel the post is saying the two are correlated, more so simply that despite Firefox doing worse year over year, the CEOs compensation continues to rise.
From a technical perspective, I wonder what they do with those seldom viewed videos. Do they get stored somewhere in slower, deep storage, only to be eventually transferred out and cached when they’re actively receiving views? I imagine you wouldn’t want to waste faster, more expensive storage on something that’ll likely rarely to be retrieved.
I hate the process of debugging, but good god, once you’ve spent 5 hours tracking down the dumbest shit and gotten it to work, it’s better than an orgasm.
