This is true. No realistic pay raise can compensate for a toxic work environment. At some point, most people will value their mental health over high pay.

Connect has the same issue for me. The app UI shows I’m logged in, Lemmy disagrees, so I just log in again.

WavePad is open source but it’s free for non-commercial use and it’s pretty nice. Handles a lot of formats out of the box.
