I snagged the world’s comfiest leather jacket for $8 at a local thrift shop. All it needed was some stitching in a couple pockets, but it’s bloody perfect otherwise. Eight friggen bucks.

It’s also apt, in it’s own weird way. There’s absolutely a difference between pre-9/11 and post-9/11 America. One could consider it a rebirth of sorts.
It was a pain in the ass but me and a buddy got it working once. I was a young teen and this was long before weed helped me see more beauty in music, so I didn’t get much out of it, but as an adult it’d probably be different.
Just using it as a streaming machine.
He’s just using it for streaming, figured it having a built in screen would help significantly with the limited space in his flat.
I know Tom Scott was able to buy one brand new on Amazon a few years back.
Just imagine, the citizens of Fallout and the Elder Scrolls likely don’t bathe nearly as often as we’d want them. Just imagine how badly Belethor must smell of rotten cheese, or the amount of piss you’d find on raiders and the shit in their pants when they die.
Every time I get one of those from Telegram I always report it stating that nobody asked for it and that it’s utterly unnecessary for a messenger app.
Name recognition sells clicks better than being concise and clear in your messaging.
I’ll have to try and remember where I found the Windows Mobile version of it. While there’s a humongous website for downloading PalmOS programs, I haven’t found one for Windows Mobile yet.
Just a nice collection of quick, simple puzzles. A perfect time killer. It’s a staple that I’ve got on all the devices in my old 2000s PDA collection since it was also built for Windows Mobile and PalmOS.
Reinstalled my OS trying to fix something. Fresh Firefox install on default settings with just UBO, still giving me ads with footage blocked.
Right now on my Firefox it’s blocking the footage, not the audio, and I still gotta wait on the ads. I’ve tried screwing about in ublock origin’s settings a bit but it’s not worked out for me.
In fairness I’m not too picky outside of an SD card slot and 3.5mm jack. I ain’t a power user, so as long as I can chat with my buddies, reply to emails, enjoy my media, and it does all that just fast enough, I’ll take anything with an SD card slot and headphone jack. I’m not the average user lol
I’ve nearly 40 gigabytes of FLACs as well as commissioned art (much smaller in size than my music collection) stored on a 256 gigglebyte card in my phone. While the 128 gigs built into my phone is more than enough, when it’s time to get a new phone all I gotta do is slap it into the new phone and boom, gucci. That convenience, on top of only needing to remove the card to add stuff to it, is why an SD card slot is non negotiable for me.
“Alright, so we’re playing the only game where Florida man has a penchant for exploding into tiny gator shaped giblets…”
“It’s Happy Wheels.”
Mate I own a pre-iphone smart phone. What are you on about?
If you really wanna go back far enough, the first handheld, portable device which had both phone and computer technologies in one package dates as far back as the mid 90s. Touch screen and all. The term smartphone would first be coined in 1995. Heaps of other touch screen devices that could do phone calls, SMS, and had a suite of apps would come out in later years as PalmOS and later Pocket PC/Windows Mobile came to fruition in the late 90s/early 2000s. The iPhone was just iterating off technology and features already being seen in smartphones at the time, just in a sleeker, smoother, simpler manner with a capacitive touch screen rather than the resistive touch screens of most common devices at the time. Heck, the iPhone wasn’t even the first phone with a capacitive touch screen.
A drake is a four legged dragon that lacks wings, but that’s not important now.
Not everybody knows how to code or contribute to something like Lemmy. Only programing I know, myself is DECORATE for Doom modding.
If a random dude is riding on a bus and it starts making weird noises and driving poorly you couldn’t reasonably expect a random person to be able to fix it, but they definitely can bring attention to the weird noises.
My favorite that I unironically love is Totally Rad. Short, sweet, to the point, and PERFECTLY encapsulation 80s radditude.
