If it’s software that is self hosted and might be useful, I’m okay with it. We have the vote up/down to sort the wheat from the chaff. And worse case the comments can rip it apart and offer alteratives.

If it’s foss or whatever abso-fucking-lutely. I love reading about new things. I first learned of Orca Slicer in a post about Bambu Slicer on 3d printing community. I’m also all for supporting solo devs. I feel that closed source is a cromulent option that has been abused by corporations. But hey, like this is just, like my opinion dude!

The initial post might be spam, but it’s the discussion where the meat and potatoes live. Now, reposts of the same product (unless it’s to show off major new features like once a year) I do draw the line at.

Hi Mudkip, you are totally right! Our posts are getting very sterile. We will try to delve into the reason for this and do a better job going forward.

^ Right here. Company I worked at had trash dropped in the back of one our service vehicles (as well as some straight up vandalism), had lots of personally identifying info and the culprit had already made themselves well known to our staff a couple weeks prior. Guy told the police the trash was stolen and nothing further ever happened with it.

I watch other people play the games. Then when I’m tired I close my eyes and I have a nap. I can wake up, fully rested and maybe get to see the final boss! Or not. Maybe I just go to bed.

It’s the “is it a space or is it an underscore” that gets ya.

I mean, you can use custom search engines, but the only way to get them on android is to sync them over from a desktop install.

It’s such a strange kludge, especially if you a) don’t use desktop vivaldi or b) don’t use sync. Maybe one day they’ll add in the menu item or whatever. It’s getting better but Android Vivaldi has been getting like one new feature a year it seems like.
