I had a teacher who would give two points for each correct answer out of, say, 47 questions. So the highest score you could get was 94%. This was for a math test.

2·1 month agoAnd since IQ is a statistical measurement, about 65% of people are within 1 standard deviation of average, and hence are identical under casual observation. So, for all practical purposes, most of the people you meet are average, and the rest are split between above and below.
Which is why most comedians aren’t known for being mathematically inclined.

6·3 months agoWild claims? “‘We did this thing in the lab.’ It could be a breakthrough provided they can scale production.” The only thing that would make this a wild claim is if they didn’t actually do what they said or if it didn’t work like they said. They didn’t even claim this could be commercialized.
Also, Professor Zhao works at Western University, in Ontario, Canada. Here’s an article about this same research on their website. The only reference to CATL in the article you linked mentions that they are commercially producing sodium ion batteries using a different process.
