Do we know if it’s a similar scheme idol Corp used some time ago, i.e. income sharing for x amount of time? Or did they have to fork the money outright?
I’m not really familiar with the company outside their name but the IP hand-over is always a win these situations. Good for them!
On a more positive note, Niko is returning tomorrow at 18:30 JST (source tweet, rough MTL).
Not that surprising since keeping up with everyone is kind of impossible at this point. I just wish catching up on news didn’t involve sudden sadness like this. It’s surprisingly rare all things considered but still.
Yeah, she posted about it a few days ago. Her cat was breathing weirdly so she took it to a vet but they weren’t able to save it. She took it pretty hard and said she’ll be talking to her manager, presumably to take a break from activities for a bit.
It has been a rough time for multiple holo members seems like. We had Nene feeling down, Haachama breakdown, Miko being attacked and dealing with her own stuff, Niko losing her cat. That’s just off the top of my head, I might be forgetting someone.
I’m just glad Cover learned from past situations and seem to have things under control (as much as they can as an employer, anyway). I don’t think they’d be able to deal with this a few years ago.
I hope she’ll be able to recover properly this time as the last time she took a break wasn’t exactly easy for her. Regardless of how this goes and how long it takes, her health is the important part.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. Many things mentioned here are basic but important knowledge, useful in any workplace - it’s a pretty responsible way to handle new hires, doubly so for graduates. Things like this make me thing Cover is trying hard to build for a long run, which is nice.
While I hate corporate environment, I wish I had access to training like this in any of the jobs I had to be a part of. It would definitely make things easier for my mental health and approach to professional world.

No 3D Nimi as of yet. There might be an official 3D debut before the concert but there’s nothing concrete planned at the moment (unless something changed since her announcement stream).
Can’t say I vibe with her game choices (just not my thing) but it’s always fun to check out someone new. Thanks for sharing!

Personally I’m all for it. It’s not easy to find interesting or new talents considering how big the scene is these days. Just don’t go overboard and I don’t think anyone would mind.
No more pressure to do it before a deadline so… silver linings?
