I’m not going to tell you “The Trans Community” like her because there is no monolith, but she is respected by many lgbtq+/ally creators, so I’ll be deferring to them over randos online. The biggest voices I’ve heard criticizing her for not making the donation have been anti-woke dramatubers, so I doubt their intentions are so pure. Hell, even Legal Mindset decided to weight in on whether or not Vshojo could fire her based on the assumption that Vshojo doesn’t know the full story and before he was originator to the vtuber crowd, he was putting out anti-woke videos criticizing Disney. There is a definite pattern with the loudest voices criticizing her that make me question their motives.

(Again, I never watched a single stream of hers so I don’t know anything besides the occasional drama that pops up outside the VShojo sphere, but that’s definitely the impression it gives me).

Elara just did a deep dive into the froot’s document and compared it to the claims the ex brought forward. tl;rd: Her supposed cheating happened when they were separated and he was being abusive. In both cases, chatlogs are super easy to forge, so if froot’s document lacks any proof, so does the ex.

The charity thing is a different matter, but there’s two main points, both mistakes, but not malice. One, froot didn’t vet that specific charity very closely. That specific one may have been shady, so she would have gotten shit if she even did donate the money. Two, the donation amount was based purely on how many likes the post got. It wasn’t a Matching Donation or other type of fund raiser. Her antis went and liked her post just to try and bankrupt her. She probably should have made a public statement about the matter, but she didn’t steal any money like people seem to be claiming.

This is more like making an image of some politician who “joins the fight” with Bruce Lee pose, or suit, or something.

Further down the threat, a local revealed it was from a grocery store rag, not a legit news paper. So the imagery makes more sense.

As far as way a legit, local news paper would want to care about “international sensitivities”, Professionalism would be one. As an American, if an American news paper used Chinese stereotypes or Yellow Face in an article about Japanese politicians, I would expect both Americans and Japanese People to be outraged.

This isn’t coming from a naive, “regular Joe” Italian. News papers should be a bit better about international sensitives.

About as good as it can be all things considered. BraveGroup must believe that they can offer as good or better deal to the talents if they can walk with their IP. The artists that are behind on getting paid will be cleared up and the fans waiting on merch have something to look forward to.

Also, it’s not like the Idol talents aren’t talking to the V4 talents behind the scenes. They know what’s up. Even if it’s a one time offer, letting the talents walk with their IP is a big PR boost for BraveGroup

Sayu did approach Kson about joining Vsj early on, but while Kson was sympathetic, said the some of the other members weren’t sure about Sayu yet. This was still when she would tangent into venting about her old job and I think that might have been the issue. The other issue is that at the time, she didn’t really have a strong connection to anyone at Vsj and viewers were just trying to meme it into existence. While I still think she would jive better with the other members of PhaseConnect, Vsj isn’t completely out of the realm of possibility.

A month or so ago, Sakana revealed that PC is already in preliminary talks with three new Invaders. If Sayu is going to end up with PC, she would have been one of those three. I think PC has a few already locked in, but wants to round off the next wave with a few more and that’s who auditions for new Invaders was opened. I’m not really a fan of Genshin Impact, but I do try and catch Hag Emblem or any other collab she’s in.

Some people also suggested Idol, but they just debuted their “Encore” gen, so I doubt they’re ready for another similar group so soon.
