Moondrop has a lot of sellers. I bought one of their entry IEMs with free shipping, came pretty fast despite being a very hot new release. That said i can’t tell you from which retailer anymore (maybe even moondrop themselves?)(actually, i dont think you can buy from them, think i bought from shenzhenaudio), they are collecting dust somewhere (I just can’t get on board with the form factor, over-ear/on-ear all day, everyday).

Fair enough, very valid points, especially since this is unlikely to be (completely) a rebranded generic aliexpress phone. And to be fair some digital audio players cost an insane buck (see FiiO M series), so if this is kind of a middle ground, the price could be steep.

Our childrens hospital (besides the ICU that uses a phillips solution on windows, which integrates with the monitoring and anesthesia equipment) runs linux, however they do this in a virtual environment on windows, the reasoning I am not sure about, potentially to sandbox the electronic system they are using.

2. Its almost exclusively to do with the software they need, it often wont run on linux or will have limited support.

This is hyprland specific, wayland runs fine on Gnome and KDE with regular, open and Noveau nvidia drivers

Hyprdots is great if you are into Tiling WMs, I loved it but ultimately realised that tiling WM is not for me.

Don’t like them, they are annoying to deal with - CLI naming is odd, files are stored unintuitively and if your whole system is not on flatpak, chances are the sizes are going to be absurd. One of the main reasons I wen’t with Arch is Pacman + AUR, never have to install a flatpak, because the package management is so good.

That has been my go-to in the past, but I am not sure if it is still, I have enough past linux experience that I just went with arch after trying nobara and couldn’t be happier. For all the memes of it being hard, especially if you go with something like EndeavourOS, it is fairly simple, the package management is superb and I do not have to bother with things like Flatpaks.

I don’t mind waiting a week until the relevant things are fixed, why do you need to play something the moment they are released?

BG3 worked for me on the week of release, I did not buy / test it on the day of releas however, but afaik all it needed to work fine was a switch from Vulkan to DX12

Its not a matter of it being AAA or Indie. Yes some games don’t play well or at all. Most games do, and they do it seamlessly.

According to ProtonDB Starfield works, with less FPS and some (rare crashes). I would bet my left nut that the main reason is that bethesda released a buggy incomplete mess and left it to the modders to complete for free. And if bethesda hadn’t put out spaghetti it would probably just work with proton.
