Dragon Age: Origins. BioWare has the talent to fill your heart with lovely characters and their stories until it overflows with joy and care, only to stab a knife into it to make you bleed. Beautifully painful. :)

It is hardly known, but I miss the action rpg “Lost Kingdom” by FromSoftware for the GameCube. You summoned creatures and monsters in battle with cards and it had a gloomy, eerie atmosphere, I remember some really scary level. I found this at a flea market when I was fifteen, so it was such a special find. It had one sequel, but after that the game disappeared. :<
