I write the little stories most people walk right past.
A pair of blue jays sharing a meal. A cat convinced the box belongs to him. A dog who somehow understands more than words. A trip to the grocery store that becomes an adventure. If an animal, a stranger, or an ordinary day makes me stop and wonder, “What were they thinking?”… chances are a poem isn’t far behind.
Most of my work is written in rhyme, usually with humor, sometimes with a lump in the throat, and always with a love for the small moments that quietly make up a life.
Welcome to my little corner of Lemmy.
I hope a few of these stories make you smile, make you laugh, or simply make your day a little brighter.

This is me, as I’ve intended to be seen.
You’ve invested time to pursue something you’re not interested in, and in representation of the “community”?
Now that is a discussion worthy topic. 🕵️
As always, I will watch the community’s voting trend determine the perceived value of the content.
You actually got me thinking.
If I set up a Patreon where I posted both versions—the raw poetry exactly as I originally wrote it, alongside the finished version after I used the language learning model to polish it up—would you be interested enough in seeing that process to subscribe?
I’d be happy to put in the extra time to make something like that available if there were enough genuine interest to make the effort worthwhile.
From my profile:
The stories are mine. They’re drawn from my own life, observations, and experiences. The strange way I see the world.
The language learning model (AI) doesn’t invent them—it simply helps me turn those stories into poetry. Think of it like using a ruler. I can draw a pretty straight line by hand, but if I already know exactly where I want the line, why not use the ruler?
Thank you!
Not the first time either. Doesn’t seem to matter if I wear my Nike or crew socks disguise, he always traps me!
Thank you!
Haha, thank you! That is the highest compliment a writer can get.
Is that why the health bar appears every time he enters the kitchen? 🤣
Thank you!
He certainly acts like it when he goes flying around the living room (zoomies).
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll definitely cross-post it there.
Absolutely, ask him to hit me up when the show’s over.

Must be a fine looking gent!
