A while back, someone suggested that only women should be allowed to own handguns, and that the guns should all be painted baby pink.
The strain was too much, man.
I’ll add ‘Connections’ an old BBC series covering the history of technology. The creator shows how one change in one place can affect the world. For instance, Napoleon’s armies needed to be fed on the march and eventually we got modern food processing.

If you want a great heroic fantasy, try Robert Heinlein’s “Glory Road.” He gives you a great adventure, and casually kicks all the tropes in the knee.
“Space opera” has been a term in science fiction since at least the 1940s. Flash Gordon, John Carter, and Buck Rogers all fought Emperors.

I’m old enough to remember when all Americans thought that the Nazis were the bad guys.
One of the things Faux News did to build up Trump was to show the unemployment rate when Trump had 100 days in office and compare it with Obama. Obama came in after the 2008 meltdown and had [apx] 10% unemployment at 100 days. Trump came in after eight years of Obama and had [apx] 4%.
It’s a package deal.

I never liked any of the jobs I’d ever had. Got injured on the job and had some time off to actually explore my options. Someone suggested this book and it changed my life. Six self administered tests to see what you do well already, and a list of jobs that use those skills.
I had a list of a dozen jobs that they said I might be a good fit for. Took a class to get certified and found I liked it right away.

7·7 months agoIf you look at the site I provided, you’ll see that they have plenty of atheist/agnostic meetings [labelled ‘secular.’]
They also have a lot of LGBTQ+ meetings, as well as men only and women only options.
AA suggests people try to find a Higher Power of their own understanding.
It’s a cheap and easy way to teach children to visualize.
