I’m sure some people will swap, but nah no way it’s a meaningful loss
Ad blockers will still exist too, they just won’t be as effective. If the layman installs an ad blocker and gets one less ad, they won’t question it further

It could be better, but it’s not as horrible as the reviews told me it was. Moved from a Z Fold 4 to an 8 pro - I’ve never ultrasonic, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
The real star of the show is the Level 3 Face Unlock. It works perfectly as long as you’re in a lit room
They use Fi
Yeah the original commenter is absolutely a Fi subscriber
You’re preaching to the choir, lol. I’m just saying the hardware on non-entry Chromebooks is outstanding these days. Everything else is a matter of time & licensing
Like any computer, Chromebook hardware sucks if you’re buying entry level sub-$500 devices. The reputation for shitty hardware is generally from people who have only used entry level devices
Our standard fleet for our teachers is Acer Spin 513-2WH. They’re exceptionally nice
Good, glad they’re moving quickly on this
Amen on free form multi window being a necessity - I can’t say I’ve ever triple tasked, but I absolutely have had floating windows for quick reference (like infographics/calculator/etc)
Force full screen is a must have - the Pixel Folds currently inability to do this makes it a nonstarter for me
DeX is awesome when I need it. I could live without it, but it’s really nice to use in a pinch
Feels odd that we are unquestionably on the verge of losing this form factor. I like the Pixel Fold approach, but I’ve become fond of the candy bar exterior display. It’s a bit less fun for texting, but makes scrolling social media timelines a treat
Thanks for the suggestion - Liftoff/else we’re great, Connect is outstanding until we get Sync.
Absolutely floored at how active this instance & community is. It’s like I never left Reddit.
Cheers!!
Love this article - it hits every nail on the head. Still loving my ZF4 - have to give a special shoutout to the new Samsung Care plan. It took me a bit longer to get my phone repaired, but I got the inner screen repaired for $29, which is outstanding
Currently a Bitwarden user at both home & at work. Picked up some Teams licenses for my department earlier this year - Password Managers are absolute essentials for next of kin & for successors at work.
You’ve GOT to give
My only takeaway from this article is that Google could be doing so much more. I wish we had anything close to WWDC in terms of fanfare behind new features & functionality
I wasn’t too annoyed until I saw the bit about some of these cars being available through an ingame catalog that exists solely for subscribers
How about you leave the existing content alone and… develop new content if you need to make your paid content worth its while? Come on, Rockstar.
The stenographer for our local zoning & planning board still uses a XP netbook. Couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw it
