Android@lemdro.id•Google is partnering with Samsung because that’s the only way it can beat AppleEnglish
3·2 years agoYou bring a good point. I’m curious about what a “more open” iOS could give in terms of experience. Could be a real blow to Samsung
That what I use, and it’s perfect

Android@lemdro.id•Are you excited for the S24 announcement?English
3·2 years agoThe Note 4 from 2014 has a higher resolution Display than the S24 and if you go by Pixels per Inch it even beats the S24 Ultra!
TIL, that’s crazy

7·2 years agoBecause Samsung considers that Europeans are going to buy it anyway. They have to be more competitive in the US where they face Apple.

3·2 years agoI did some research, apparently some can out of the box, for some others you need Magisk. The better way is apparently to use GrapheneOS on a Pixel as you can relock your bootloader?

Android@lemdro.id•Samsung is no longer the world’s biggest smartphone maker, Apple isEnglish
5·2 years agoI live in Europe, and I’ve heard this kind of comments in Apple-only families too. Someone I know got an iPhone to be able to access the family chat.
When, he then discovered that iOS wasn’t for him, and then got a Pixel again, but still.

Which phone did you get, if I may ask? A Pixel?

Definitely. The battery life and stuttering issues on Pixels devices are not up to the standards of their price range. Samsung is a bit better, but when you compare it to iPhones, those just seem more “polished”?
