Ya, its just some people over exaggerated a bit. As long as you don’t do stuff that obviously tries to mess with core system stuff it should be fine.
Economicaly might be viable, but there is so much unused experimental tech that has higher potential and scales better (higher scientific development as well).
I would rather see more investment on better renewable tech then relaying on biohazard.
You would be surprised to know the amount of scientific research with actual solutions that aren’t applied cause goes against the fossil fuel companies and whatnot. Due to the fact that they have market monopoly.

The meme is becoming a reality. Systemd really is going to try to be everything lmao
In terms of WMs, I would say sway and river are the most straightforward to setup, the rest like dwl and hyprland might require more setup for different reasons like hyprland outside of arch but it works well in my machine
I tried to upload a bigger image but Lemmy wasn’t allowing me to do so with ‘file too big’ error. I like Yambar cause its easier to customize it with custom scripts (like having a script to show how many packages to update) and also the feel of it is different and interesting to use.
Edit: I now have added a link for a higher res version of the image in the description 🤙
If there was a regolith but based on river or dwl I would definitely do the switch, cause i do like a more dynamic tilling workflow compared to the manual tilling
Very interesting, going to check it out 🤙
Very interesting, but I do wish there was a equivalent but based on a dynamic tilling WM
Could be the case 🤔, I think if there was a more accessible WM with no tinkering in config files needed we might see a bigger adoption to the WM workflow (cause it really is more productive)
More like traditional dynamic tilling WM
Definitely going to keep my eyes on it 👀👍
Cosmic DE right? I might give it a go and see how it goes 👍
True, but it would be pretty nice to have a sort of KDE or gnome type project but WM style
Adding to the existing comments, there is also invidious which doesn’t bombard you with adds and if you have a homeserver you can easily host an instance (acts like a frontend to youtube)
Finally, modern UI. Mint really needed it, less reasons for noobies to not try it out now
