Note 9 has been the best phone I’ve owned. I’m glad they are least still out SD slots in their Tab line.
It’s not as mature, but AnyType is a nice alternative to Obsidian, and includes 1gb syncing for free, which is generous for text.
It’s also open source.
Same – I have a Galaxy Tab S7+, and I love it for media consumption and note taking/drawing. I’ve also taken it in lieu of a full laptop for short work trips.
My only other experience with Android tablets is the Nexus 7. I also used a Windows tablet (Surface 3) in my last job, but rarely used it in tablet form.
I love upnote, but wish they didn’t change the icon.
I’ve been using Anytype for the past 6 months, and love the direction its going.
It doesn’t have the flexibility of plugins that Obsidian has, but it’s open source, so hopefully some day it will mature in that direction.
It also offers the option of 1GB cloud storage for free, which is plenty for text.
I still use my Note 9 from time to time and it’s extremely responsive. The only thing I notice is the low refresh rate of the screen.
I cancelled my mobile contract in Germany last month, and I had to submit in their web portal that I wished to cancel, and then call them to confirm the cancellation.

Overdrop does have a great UI and plenty of widget options. I go between Overdrop and Today, as I prefer the overall UX of Overdrop, but find the multi-location switching easier to do in Today (unless I’ve somehow missed it in Overdrop).
Not only midrange but also previous year flagships, I’d guess
