I was wondering if any communities exist that are entirely dedicated to people showing off stuff they put together. Either highly custom desktops, or cool automations, or a specific security setup. Stuff like this post: https://lemmy.ml/post/54225017

I know we can post them here, but feel like it would be a cool thing to have a dedicated comm for.

I see none of these are very active. I wonder why that is? Maybe if we made one that was very permissive more people would post there? Like a “TechShowcase” one. Since people on Lemmy are less populated and we’d need it to be open to more people so it doesn’t die. Just a comm for anyone who wants to show off some cool thing they did or found online.
