Just curious what everyone else is watching this up coming season, any recommendations welcome. I am aware of:
Witch Hat Atelier Dorohedoro Deamons of the Shadow Realm
My favorite one at the moment from everything i’ve started this season is Nippon Sangoku, it looks promising.
I just read the synopsis from the manga, it sounds extremely interesting. I’ll have to check it out thank you
“Release that witch” is pretty good. Also not this season but found a hidden-gem called Haibane Renmei recently from lemmy.
Season 4 of Classroom of the Elite is airing. Looking good so far.
If you do watch it, be prepared for a lot of changes, as the art style, music, and the intro have completely changed (Probably new studio). Fortunately, the VAs are the same (as far as I can tell).
Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You has been a very chill, vibey kind of experience. I find myself looking forward to it the most each week. Reminds me a bit of call of the night that way. Though I am an Inept Villainess has decent production quality and enough of an original twist to set it apart in the crowded Villainess genre. Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky has been lovely, but it looks like things are turning heavy. I’m probably going to sit on it for a few episodes before I come back. I’ve only watched a few episodes of Sparks of Tomorrow, but Kyoani are absolutely killing it in this show. Feels Ghibli-esque.
I started the Bookworm, waiting for years… dropped immediately, totally messed up and cheap :( less and less anime care about quality anymore, messing up great source material :'(
Which season? From what I’ve heard Seasons 3 and 4 are significantly higher quality than 1 and 2, but I haven’t seen them yet myself to vouch for that.
the one just started. fredinand got fat, Mayn’s animations become so childish and generic. the previos one was good, which ended with the closing of Part 2 of the manga (avoiding spoilers). but the current one… it’s really disappointing :(
I don’t currently have the time to watch the full episode, but I skimmed through it a bit. I haven’t seen enough to see much about Myne’s animations other than that she might be acting stiff due to (spoilers) >!entering into noble society!< Aside from that I don’t know what you’re talking about with Ferdinand being apparently fat. He looks just as fit as most any of the other male characters appearing alongside him.
I’m glad it not just me, I’ve actually been going back look for 80s -2000s OVAs for that reason. Maybe I should make that a separate post?
