I have waited so long for this.
Username checks out!
It looks like Tatsuo Satou (the director of Kidou Senkan Nadesico, Uchuu no Stellvia, and Mouretsu Pirates) is directing this so yeah, I’m in. Also, Shuuichi Ikeda (aka CHAR) is narrating,… and then Akira Ishida (Athrun Zala among many other things) is one of the characters?! alright alright.
Anyways, not knowing anything about this coming in, this first ep was a lot of fun and Tatsuo Satou is a director who I like for the worldbuilding in their series and the balance of seriousness with good comedic timing so looking forward to the rest.
That was pretty funny but they’re gonna die aren’t they? It’s gotta be one of those shows with funny jokes but then they hit you with the sad feels.
At last, it’s here! The best comedy anime of the season!
Wow the plot is really advancing. Winged humans overthrowing demon castles already!
Reminds me of Dark Souls 3.
Anime only here. This is pretty good!
The writing kept me off balance.
I have no idea what’s coming next, which is good!
Helck seem like nice comedy anime that in the middle will hit me in the feels, and I will love every second of it. I am hyped
I heard the manga was good, but I didn’t see anything in the 1st ep to grab me. Is the rest of the series like the first ep? I’m wondering if I should continue.
Yup, let’s gooooooo
Helck is great, and this adaptation is not the immediate dumpster fire that Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer was, so I’m in. Judging from the OP and flashbacks, it looks like they’re planning to adapt the entire manga in 24 episodes, which I think should be fine, pacing wise? I’m hyped.
I fell that blonde guy, neuron ? , Voice and identical character design have in a shitton animes before, that being said I have heard this is a manga clásica with any luck this will be a worthy adaptation.
