My orange cat is the direct opposite. You look in his general direction for even a fraction of a second, and he’s all over you like Grandma’s kisses.

    It’s sweet.

    But it’s also exhausting sometimes.

    Edit:

I have a gray and white cat that LOVES to sleep on my arm when I’m in my chair in the living room. I love him, but there are times when I just need a little space or want to be able to use my arm…

Your cat is so freaking cute! I want to give him the biggest hugs.

My cat is in the middle of yours and the OP’s comic. Doesn’t want to be directly held but will want to come near me and lay within my vicinity. If I’m on the bed, he wants to be on the bed. If I’m on the couch, he wants to be on the couch. Just a good distance away that I can’t reach him but I can see and hear him and he has a good area to stare at me.

Is the cat leaving, or showing the human their butthole? Either way, it’s very on-brand.

On point! However, the good thing is that often it works and results in a sweet cuddly nap.

Sometimes if my cat “really” wants pets and attention, but i can’t at the moment, I’ll just hold onto her with a big loving hug until she’s pissed enough to leave me alone for a bit.

I have a solid black cat that you can just do anything with. If he’s laying there you can lay with him and he’s happy or you can pick him up and carry him ti a whole other room and put him somewhere and as long as you give him a few pets he’ll be happy.
