Too bad ‘smart’ watches are still dumb because you can’t replace the battery easily and have to basically trash it. ‘smart’ is actually dumb for the end user…

That covers a lot of small consumer electronics. Basically anything rechargeable: wireless headphones, earbuds, phones, fitness trackers, razors, etc.

I really wish replaceable rechargeable batteries were a thing.

I had a Pixel Watch for a few months, but man constantly having to recharge it. Eventually, I felt like I’m the one being smart, planning, doing this extra work and for what? I went back to a regular watch.

Sad to see you were downvoted for this, I do have a huawei smartwatch which can go a few weeks and doubles as an mp3 player but gotta love the fact g-shocks basically go forever, are always syncing the time to be perfect and are just tough as hell.

Took me a long time to try a smartwatch but I’m sure my old g-shocks will outlast it.
