That makes me more wary.
Even when using LTSC 2019, the drivers still install a few UWP apps. And some of them just reinstall themselves immediately after deleting them, it’s just hilarious.
But at least they’re UWP apps so they can’t see your files (hopefully, UWP apps are sandboxed).
If memory serves the people behind this CAPTCHA are Palo Alto Networks.
Apparently they are the leader in cyber security and use AI everywhere.
So no wonder why these CAPTCHAs are so difficult, they’re probably training AIs.
I have this problem too. I have Proton VPN on and try to solve a reCAPTCHA. And it makes me do the “click until there’s none left” thing, which is a pain in the ass. I do it. And then just says Please try again. So I do the audio one and apparently I’m sending automated requests. Thanks google.
For me, when a site forces Chrome, I just use ungoogled chromium, or sometimes vanilla Chromium
Even Mac users can just drag it into the Trash.
If you don’t care about your text going to evil Google, try gtts-cli.
Main reason for it being is slow because they don’t want to interfere with M$ ToS.
Funny thing is that 8 had 2 LTSC-like versions:
Embedded Industry and the EEAP builds.
EEAP builds were released to partners (e.g. Nvidia and Intel) only.
Industry Pro is like a precursor to modern day IoT LTSC.
BypassNRO is actually an NT command script, not a DOS batch file. It’s actually a .cmd, which actually sets a registry value and reboots the system (probably the only bit of the Windows core I am aware of that is open source).
Also the Panther (the codename for the boot.wim installer) Setup has some really basic partitioning tools. You can create a smaller partition, delete, format, and that’s it. You have to use DiskPart or Disk Management to do more.
(accidentally deleted this)

If I use Windows I use a fully patched IoT LTSC 2019, with O&O ShutUp at somewhat recommended settings.

Archive.org handles books like a library, making it pretty useless for piracy (unless you use a script to save it as a PDF and lend it back)
Are you sure you need a license to order them? Searching “dell latitude” on Amazon shows business Dells.
